1. Studying in the UK

2. Living in the UK
The United Kingdom (UK) is a cosmopolitan place to live. Many thousands of families from around the world have made the UK their home, creating a richly diverse, open-minded, multicultural society. There are also more than a quarter of a million international students in the UK at any one time. The UK 's capital city, London , is a leading global centre for banking, insurance and commerce as well as being a magnet for students and tourists alike. Outside of London , well known cities like Glasgow , Leeds, Liverpool, New-Castle Birmingham, and Manchester are making their mark with world class shopping, restaurants, nightlife and music scenes in addition to their better known sporting and industry links.

3. Working in the UK

If the course lasts longer than six months, its automatically given permission to work, this means that the students are allowed to work full time in the UK during the vacations, and Part time (up to 20 hours a week) during term-time.

4. Cost of Living

Apart from the fees for the course itself, students need to ensure that they have sufficient funds to cover the living expenses while studying. The main expense will be accommodation, and there is wide choice of accommodation available to suit ones budget. On average one should budget living expenses per academic year (9 months): 7,200 pound living in London and 5,400 pound if living elsewhere in the UK . These figures include the cost of accommodation, heating, lighting, food, clothing, books and daily travel for one person.

5. Post Study Work (PSW)

In June 2008 PSW replaced the International Graduate Scheme (IGS). PSW allows Non-European students who successfully complete a degree, Masters Degree, postgraduate diploma, or equivalent qualification in the UK , to stay and work in the UK for up to two years upon completion of their studies.
